I was out sailing over the weekend. As I was leaving New Bedford Harbor, I noticed the Black Seal, a beautiful Gaff rigged, three-masted staysail schooner following me. I was under just the genoa, and the Black Seal had all of her sails up.
Here are a few photos of the Black Seal, as she passed me. She appeared to be headed for either Martha’s Vineyard or Nantucket.
