Barrier Coat and Bottom Paint

Posted on Thursday 2 August 2007

Well, after all the time the barrier coat and new bottom paint took, I thought I’d post a few photos of the Pretty Gee with her new paint job. The bottom paint will turn a verdigris green from what I’ve been told, but is still copper colored at the moment. As part of the new paint job, I added a new blue bootstripe that complements the blue Sunbrella I’m using on the tiller, winch and windlass covers, as well as the genoa sheet bags. I plan on getting a new sail cover in Pacific Blue Sunbrella sometime next year with the boat’s name on it.

It is really good to have her back in the water.
