Well, blogging is probably going to suffer as I hunker down and get settled into NaNoWriMo 2006.
Brian and Carol Anne are already off and running. Tammy, Brad and I are a bit behind them. This is my first time participating in the organized insanity called NaNoWriMo, and it’ll be interesting to see how it goes, as I really never considered myself a writer, but somehow my life has conspired to give something I have to write about.
It is time for me to play catch up, and get some words on paper. I don’t know if I’ll make the 50,000 word goal that is the target of NaNoWriMo, but I’m going to give it a shot. Who knows, maybe something I can publish will come out of this all.
Good luck to you! I thought about it, but with a week and a half of hectic grant proposal writing ahead of me I knew I wouldn’t be able to hit the ground running on this one. Maybe next year! (and I didn’t say that last year at all!
Hey Dan…the link to herb was always there, of course. What do you mistake me for?
Cheers….Zephyr
Dan,
This is a small small world! So I was reading my FIL’s blog (propercourse, tillerman) and clicked on your comment. I read about Gee and was very sad for you. Then I saw the link saying you were a twinless twin and then I thought, “it’s HIM!” I went searching for Debbi and saw that you were wishing Nico a happy 5th bday. Theeeeeeee Dan Kim. I know Deb because my sister is her best friend….Kathy Connelley. So tillerman is my FIL and you are Debbi’s brother. I also remember hearing the story about Gee from Debbi and from your Mom. Just had to say what a small, small world it is. We probably met at a birhtday party in Newton once. Thanks for sharing your story with me!
