Well, April is finally here, but apparently no one told winter to leave yet.
I think I hear the weather goddess laughing—saying that winter should have one last fling before the glorious arrival of spring. I asked for good weather for sailing, and this definitely does qualify—its pretty windy—but I have almost an inch of snow on my truck. The weather definitely reminds me of one of the last sails of last season, when we had snow on the boat, as we were tying up to the mooring.
I guess it isn’t really time to sail in her eyes, since her namesake isn’t up here yet. This is probably the last snowstorm of the spring. As the old proverb says, “Be careful what you wish for, you might just get it.”
