Innovation—Microsoft Style

Posted on Saturday 14 January 2006

Here’s a new Windows application that allows you to control your BlueTooth-enabled PC via a BlueTooth equipped cell phone.

I’ll quote something from the “article” about the new software:

Use Bluetooth Remote Control both for buisness and pleasure! Give PowerPoint presentation and see the actual slides in the phone. Change songs that are currently being played on Itunes or Media Player, browse for artists, albums, change volume and much more…

Well, here’s some copy from Salling.com, which has developed the Salling Clicker program, and the program is over three years old, and is currently on version 3.0 of the program. Salling Clicker is also available for both Macs and Windows platforms.

Free yourself from those shackles that is your laptop! Any audience will be impressed with your dynamic walk-around-the-stage performance as you change slides from your mobile phone or PDA. Your clients will appreciate seeing your face as you present the latest report; with your laptop facing them.

Whether you are on the big stage or in a small meeting, Salling Clicker provides in-hand access to slide notes from PowerPoint, giving you an important edge. Never again shall you be caught out of sync with your presentation!

Seems like the guys over at BluetoothShareware.com are innovating using the Microsoft method… 😀

BTW, the typos in the first blockquote are from the website itself.
